Uncertainty in fuel pricing and federal and state regulations requiring increased efficiencies for reduced emissions has increased the need for aerodynamic truck and trailer devices that can increase fuel economy.
Based upon aerodynamic efficiency principles that have been proven through extensive research supported by the US Department of Transportation, the Department of Energy, Transport Canada, NASA and others to boost fuel economy by as much as 5-7% or more, Optimator™ can be used for both new manufacture as well as retrofit applications. Unlike many other aerodynamic truck or trailer devices, Optimator™ is fully compatible with vehicles equipped with roll-up cargo doors, partial width access doors, tandem trailer applications, lift gates and loading decks in addition working seamlessly with trailers having swing-open access cargo doors.
